While we all know that the unannounced Samsung Galaxy Note IIIhas to be introduced later this year, there are still many things left to figure out. But one of them seems to have been discovered recently: the Note III’s model number.
According to a webpage found at Samsung Kazakhstan’s official website, the new Note is the SM-N9000.
The webpage doesn’t appear to be online anymore, but Techtastic has a snapshot of it. The image (see below) also shows the SM-C1010 – which, as previously reported, is the Galaxy S4 Zoom. Needless to say, the S4 Zoom is also unannounced. However, this will likely be unveiled earlier than the Note III: on June 20, when Samsung is holding a major press event in London.
From what we’ve heard until now, the Samsung Galaxy Note III will offer a 6 inch Full HD display, 13MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, 3GB of RAM, and a quad-core or octa-core CPU. Like the Galaxy S4 (already sold in more than 10 million units), the Note III will probably have a plastic-made case.
The Note III might have a direct competitor from HTC, as the Taiwanese company seemingly readies the launch of a 5.9 inch phablet (codenamed T6) that should feature a quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor.
