Samsung’s Galaxy Note III is definitely going to be announced next month, on September 4, in Berlin. Samsung itself has hinted at this.
However, until then, you may want to know exactly where the different versions of the new Note’s will be released.
Sam Mobile has a list of countries that will get the Note III SM-N900 (which features an Exynos 5420 Octa processor), and a list of countries where the Note III SM-N9005 (powered by Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 800) is expected to arrive.
The SM-N9005 is the LTE-capable version, and should be launched in quite many markets, including the US (of course), UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia.
The SM-N900 (non-LTE) won’t make it to the US. But it will be sold in the UK, Germany, France, India, Indonesia, and other regions.
There’s also a Note III SM-N9002 (Exynos 5420). This will be specifically made for China, supporting two SIM cards.
All three versions should sport 5.68 Full HD AMOLED displays, featuring 3GB of RAM and 13MP rear cameras. The battery should be the same for all models: a 3,200 mAh unit. As for the OS at launch, this will certainly be Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
