Positioned between the Galaxy S III and the Galaxy S III Mini, the Galaxy Premier is slightly smaller than the S III flagship (134.2 x 68 x 9 mm vs. 136.6 x 70.6 x 8.6 mm). It features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, 4.65 inch Super AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.5GHz dual-core TI OMAP 4470 processor, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, 8GB / 16GB of internal memory, MicroSD card slot, and the same 2,100 mAh battery found inside the S III.
The Galaxy Premier will be available starting December, apparently in Ukraine first, where it’s going to cost 5,555 UAH (about $680 or €523). This doesn’t really make sense, considering the fact that you can buy an S III for a similar price. But lately Samsung seems to think it can overcharge for handsets just because they’re Galaxy-branded.
