Hardware wise, we’re looking at a 4.5 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 800, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a 2-megapixel front camera, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 SoC, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable), a 2,000 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat.
Boost Mobile has set the pricing of the smartphone at $129.99 without contract, which is a very attractive price tag for the device. You can head over to one of Boost Mobile’s retail outlets or get the device from their online store just as easily. The $130 pricing will be very attractive for people looking to get an LTE handset on a budget.
Since Boost Mobile is a subsidiary of Sprint, the smartphone will look for Sprint’s 4G LTE networks around you. So make sure your area has decent Sprint LTE coverage before getting the handset. But even without LTE, the Galaxy Prevail LTE is an excellent value considering the hardware on board.
