SEOUL, South Korea - On several occasions there were leaks about the specs and the looks of the expected next generation smartphone of Samsung - the Samsung Galaxy S III. This time, however, the leak is from a trust-worthy source.
The source was tipped that the expected specifications of the new Android 4.0 powered phone will include 4.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus display (1280 x 720 pixels, not full HD), HSPA, Wi-Fi, NFC, Bluetooth, HDMI, 12MP rear camera capable of 1080p video recording at 60fps, 1.3MP front camera, 1GB of RAM, 1.5Ghz quad-core CPU, 32GB of memory and a 1,750 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S III is expected to be in the dimensions of 131 x 64 x 8 mm, which means taller and narrower than the Galaxy S II, and to weigh 125 grams.
There are no serious surprises in the specks, as we had similar leak several days ago, but the photo suggests that there will be also a white version of the phone. There is, however, a surprise from another source - the president of Samsung China was reported to declare, that moving the launch of Galaxy S III from May to April is considered.
