Samsung's much-anticipated Galaxy S III Android smartphone will feature some mind-blowing specs and run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
More details surrounding Samsung's upcoming Galaxy S III Android flagship have leaked, according to a new report Monday published by BGR. If all is true, the Galaxy S III will likely be the baddest, sexiest Android smartphone ever made.
According to information obtained by BGR, Samsung's Galaxy S III will roll out internationally this spring. The smartphone will feature a 1080p display, an 8-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It will also be powered a 1.5 GHz quad-core Exynos chipset and 1GB of RAM.
Additionally, the smartphone will feature support for 4G LTE and will run Android 4.0 ICS at launch, with Samsung's TouchWiz 5.0 UI on top. The Galaxy S III will also reportedly be the official device of the 2012 London Olympics.
All in all, we won’t be hearing any official details about the Galaxy S III until Samsung's May 3 launch event in London. We will likely be there covering the event live.
