BERLIN, Germany - As much as Samsung is trying to keep the mystery around its next major release with “Your Next Galaxy” campaign, it is becoming more and more obvious that there is a flagship mobile phone coming will most probably will be named Galaxy S III.
This is confirmed by a listing in Amazon Germany, stating a device with 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 12-megapixel camera running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
On its part, Samsung still does not publish any specs or images of the new device, but is intensifying its marketing campaign for the introduction of “The Next Galaxy” on 3rd of May, 2012.
The company is posting links to the site www.tgeltaayehxnx.com which when the visitor completes the address to www.thenextgalaxy.com gets redirected to the website of the future release containing a teaser with similar advertisement to previous Samsung campaigns, aimed to mock the popularity of Apple’s products.
In the meantime, in the UK the carrier Vodafone started its campaign “Your next Galaxy coming to Vodafone” which is aimed to offer prospective owners of a future phone to register their details for updates.
All this makes extremely probable that the next Samsung Galaxy flagship smartphone will be introduced on the 3rd of May, 2012, but there should be given credit to Samsung on managing to keep in secret will the phone be called Galaxy S III and its looks.
