Android fans in the US and pretty much anywhere outside of Europe will be glad to hear that the latest rumors surrounding the SGS3 just may be true. Based on words from TJ Kang, Senior VP of Media Services, the Samsung Galaxy S III is said be launched in June of this year. Kang leads us to believe this by stating that the SGS3 will be on a more “compressed” release timeline, unlike previous launches where we feel the device we’ve been waiting for will never come.
“So I think it will be available more or less globally within a month of the European release.”
Be sure to note the terms “I think” and “more or less”. These senior exec’s are normally very careful, when it comes to giving info out, so I think we can take the SVP’s word for it, that we should see the release of the Samsung Galaxy S III during the month of June. If you need a refresher on this device, head on over to hands-on article of the SGS3 that Samsung uploaded to YouTube earlier this month.
