According to a new rumor, Samsung is looking to launch a new color variant of the Galaxy S4 and the Galaxy S4 Mini in February 2014. This hints strongly at a MWC 2014 unveiling, which is slightly odd as the company will gear up to launch its next major flagship in a few weeks after that. But it’s always good to have a choice apart from the standard blue and white variants (along with the exclusive color variants). We’re guessing this variant of the Galaxy S4 will also come with Android 4.4 KitKat onboard, as Samsung flagships are slated to get the update in mid-January.
Hardware wise the smartphone will be pretty much the same and you can expect a 1080p 5 inch display, Snapdragon 600 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera etc. However, given that Samsung recently unveiled a Snapdragon 800 variant of the Galaxy S4, it shouldn’t surprise us if this variant comes with a new chipset on board.
