SEOUL, South Korea – The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE is now getting an official update to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. The update has been given to the international LTE-A enabled devices powered with Snapdragon 800 2013 variant processor.
The update comes with the build number XXUCNG3 and is currently available through OTA in Nordic regions like Finland and Sweden. This new update brings all the KitKat features, like redesigned status bar with white icons, improved performance, wireless printing support, better battery life, enhanced lockscreen with camera shortcut, full-screen album art and a newer version of Samsung Apps, now known as Galaxy Apps.
After a long time the LTE variant of the famous flagship Galaxy S4 has been finally treated with the update. The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE hosts all the similar specs like its original version with the added advantage of LTE band support.
