SEOUL, South Korea – Samsung Mobile has launched the Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition, with Android 4.4 KitKat and a new back cover.
The specific name ‘Value Edition’ is given as the handset comes with the latest Android offering. Earlier in March, Samsung had also launched the Value Edition for its Galaxy S III Mini that had some updated specs in comparison to its original version. However, this Galaxy S4 Value Edition is almost identical to the original Galaxy S4 and the only minor changes include the design of the back cover for the grey model, in addition to the pre-loaded Android 4.4 KitKat.
Just like the Galaxy S III Value Edition, the S4 Value Edition has been launched in Netherlands, where the device is available from only one retailer in silver and white color variants. The handset is currently priced at €398 off-contract, or free on a contract costing €25 per month.
At the moment, it is not clear whether the Samsung Galaxy S4 Value Edition will arrive in other countries or not.
