Aside from the faster surfing speeds, the 4G enabled Galaxy S5 will come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC clocked at 2.5GHz. Until now, all the Galaxy handsets launched in India have been powered with the company’s own Exynos processor.
However, it is unclear whether Samsung will continue selling its Exynos based Galaxy S5 further or not. The existing Exynos powered Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with 2GB of rAM, 16GB of internal storage, 16MP of primary camera at the back and 2MP secondary front-facing camera. The device is IP67 certified which makes it dust and water resistant.
The 4G enabled Samsung Galaxy S5 comes at a price of Rs53,500 and Airtel 4G customers will get nearly 5GB of data for free for the initial two months.
