Plenty has been spoken about the Samsung Galaxy S5 over the last several months, with yesterday’s leak of the retail packaging giving away crucial details about the hardware. However, we still don’t know what the device looks like. While it usually doesn’t take a genius to guess what design Samsung will go with, we can never really make sure until the device is unveiled. But a new leak has shed light on that aspect as well, claiming that the handset will sport a bezel-less display, similar to the LG G2 and the upcoming G Pro 2 phablet.
This report by The Korea Herald further states that the handset will feature a fingerprint scanner on the bottom left and bottom right portion of the display. This means that it won’t require extra space within the body of the smartphone for the sensor. It is also claimed that the flagship will be much slimmer compared to its predecessors thanks to a new manufacturing process. So overall, it seems like the Galaxy S5 could be a major upgrade from its predecessor. Hopefully, the design of the smartphone will be revamped as well.
