Problem:My Facebook app keeps crashing. It popped up saying “Facebook has stopped working” and i uninstalled and re-installed, but it happened a few minutes later. I also cleared the data cache and all that. Same thing worked once then same message came up.
Solution: Usually in cases such as this uninstalling then reinstalling the app fixes the problem. Clearing the cache and data of the app also works. However, in your case these two troubleshooting steps fails to solve the problem.
I suggest you access the recovery mode of your device then wipe the cache partition of your phone. Restart the phone normally then check if the Facebook app still crashes.
If it still crashes then this issue may be caused by the microSD card of your phone ( if you have one installed). Try removing the microSD card then check if the problem still occurs.
One last troubleshooting step that you can do is a factory reset. Make sure to backup your phone data before doing this procedure. Once the factory reset is complete just download the Facebook app first and check if the crashing issue still occurs.
Facebook App Does Not Open
Problem:Facebook app doesn’t open in my android yet when I make an update on it And I tried all choose to fix it Last time I have formated the device and the first app I installed it is FB Plz Plz Plz Plz I want to find fix to this problem Thanks
Solution: Here’s what you need to do. First, make sure that your phone is running no the latest software update. You can do this by manually checking for a new update using your phone or connecting the phone using a USB cord to a computer with Kies or Smart Switch running.
Once you have made sure that the phone is running on the latest update you need to backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
After the factory reset go to the Google Play Store then download the latest version of the Facebook app.
Facebook App Crashes
Problem:My Facebook app keeps crashing. It popped up saying “Facebook has stopped working” and i uninstalled and re-installed, but it happened a few minutes later. I also I have been playing Dragon Story for quite awhile now (I’m about to be level 129),the game freezes, I get bumped off the game, the keyboard will pop up for me to post to my neighbors on the game and then go away I have invested a lot of time and money on this game and don’t want to lose it, what should I do to solve the problems?
Solution: To resolve the Facebook crashing problem try taking out the microSD card ( if you have one installed) then check if the issue still occurs. If it does then start your phone in recovery mode then wipe the cache partition of your device. This deletes the temporary data in your phone that can cause this issue.
Regarding the Dragon Story issue that you are having you are having this could be caused by some form of corrupt data in the app itself. Try clearing the cache and data of the app. You may have to download the additional app content after doing this procedure.
If the problem still persists then try uninstalling then reinstalling the app.
S5 Snapchat Stopped Working After Update
Problem: I recently updated Snapchat and today it has randomly stopped working. I went into the app and it went straight to the support section and it said get the latest android firmware and download latest version of snapchat which i did?? Then it said there may be problems with my version of samsung with the new update so what to do is update and try log in? I’ve done everything and nothing is working i’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and it wont let me sign in, could you help in any way? Thank you.
Solution: Try starting your phone in recovery mode then wipe its cache partition. This deletes the temporary data stored in your phone that could be causing the problem. Check if your Snapchat app is now working.
If it still does not work then do the following troubleshooting steps listed below.
Make sure that you are using the official Snapchat app downloaded from the Google Play Store.
Check the system clock of your phone and make sure that it is correct. It’s best if you set the date and time to automatic. Do the same for the time zone. This will get the correct settings from your network.
Confirm that the Google account you are using on your phone is valid.
Snapchat support has also released a statement regarding the use of the app on rooted devices. “Snapchat works best on devices running original software, and Snapchatters using a “rooted” Android device may experience issues. Rooted devices often circumvent Android security defenses and may not be compatible with Snapchat.”
S5 Instagram App Freezes
Problem:experiencing freezing issue everytime i open instagram, this does not happen when opening other apps, only instagram, i’ve tried uninstalled n installed again the apps, but there is no difference
Solution: Try starting your phone in recovery mode then wipe the cache partition of your device. You should also try using the Instagram app with the microSD card removed as this may be causing the problem.
If the problem still persists you need to clear the cache and data of the app before uninstalling it. Go to the Google Play Store then download the latest version of Instagram.
One last troubleshooting step that you can do is to backup your phone data then do a factory reset. Once the reset is done you should download the Instagram app first then check if the issue still occurs. If it doesn’t then install the rest of your apps.
S5 Apps Stop Working
Problem: This is the 3rd S5 I’ve had since Sept. All of them will stop allowing apps to work if they are on the home page or any of the main screen pages. I was told it had to be a app I installed that was causing the problem. I got the phone #3 tonight at 7:50pm and the minute I logged into my WI-FI the digital clock and the alarm apps stop working. Are you aware of a problem with apps glitching when WI-FI connects?
Solution: Apps normally don’t freeze when the phone connects to a Wi-Fi source. It’s possible that a third party app installed in your phone is causing this problem. To check if this is the case you should start your phone in Safe Mode. In this mode only the pre-installed apps are allowed to run while apps you downloaded are disabled. If the problem disappears in this mode then it’s most likely caused by a app. Find out what app this is and uninstall it.
If the apps still freeze even in Safe Mode then I suggest you backup your phone data then do a factory reset.
