With T-Mobile starting to take pre-orders for the HTC One M9 tomorrow, Samsung has followed up by announcing pre-orders for the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge as well. The smartphones will be available from AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and U.S. Cellular. Boost Mobile, Cricket Wireless and MetroPCS on the other hand will only offer the Galaxy S6, Samsung’s statement said.
The carriers are yet to offer precise availability and pricing related details, although Samsung mentions that the devices will be available for purchase on April 10. The company mentions that the 32, 64 and 128GB variants of the handset will be on offer, so customers have plenty of choices at their disposal.
The handsets will not be available in Blue Topaz or Green Emerald, with color options limited to Black Sapphire, White Pearl and Gold Platinum at the moment, but we cannot rule out the possibility of the company adding support for more devices down the line.
