The new premium phablets by the South Korean technology giant, Samsung were launched in the US on Thursday but the Australian details were announced in Sydney on Tuesday. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and the Galaxy Note 5 will be up for sale from September 4th.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 32GB will come in back sapphire and gold platinum. The device will be priced at Australian $1099. On the other hand the Galaxy S6 Edge+ 32GB are available in black sapphire and white pearl which will be sold for Australian $1199. Plus the Galaxy S6 Edge+ 64GB in black sapphire and white pearl is priced at Australian $1299.
Prasad Gokhale, vice president of IT and mobile for Samsung Electronics Australia stated that these two new smartphones are the most powerful smartphones that the company has ever developed.
Now apart from offering users power-saving mode and fast charging technology both these new smartphones have the capacity to charge wirelessly. Plus the ability to stream videos straight from YouTube Live from the 16 MP rear camera using its ‘Live Broadcast’ features is also another feature that makes the devices desirable.
