The Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus are the next flagship phones of Samsung. They have been appearing a lot in numerous leaks, lately. However, no information from an official source has surfaced to date.
Recently, the case manufacturer ITSKINS leaked a few renders of the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. These renders give us a complete idea of shape, size, and the control layout of both devices.
There were a lot of rumors about both of these devices as they are the upcoming high-end premium smartphones of 2015. According to a recent report, the Galaxy Note 5 will not be accompanied by an Edge variant as the Note 4 was, last year.
The Galaxy Note 5 will be accompanied by a pumped up variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge, which will be featuring enhanced specifications with an expanded form factor. Thus, the Note 5 will be accompanied by a curved-edge display variant with slightly lower specifications, named as the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Moreover, the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus doesn’t come with an S pen to navigate through the UI.
Considering that the Note 5 is to be accompanied by a curved-edge display device, it is very unlikely that another variant of Note 5 will be released over the upcoming months.
According to the renders, The Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and the Note 5 are both following the design language of the Galaxy S6, with glass back, and metallic edges. This means that the Note 5 will also feature unibody design, just like the Galaxy S6.
