Samsung and Apple are the worst rivals in the smartphone industry. Both of them strive to stay a step ahead of the other in the never-ending battle of smartphones. The latest flagships by the both companies – the Galaxy S6 and the iPhone 6, by Samsung and Apple, respectively, offer premium user experience and superior build design. Both of them top the other in terms of various aspects, but the Galaxy S6 has the best camera without a doubt.
Recently, a blind test was conducted by PhoneArena by snapping pictures from both phones, comparing them side-by-side. They asked users to vote which of the pictures were best without mentioning which photo was taken from which smartphone. The results were greatly astonishing as the Galaxy photos taken from the Galaxy S6 were voted 27,063 times, while the photos snapped from the iPhone 6 were voted only 3,033 times.
In this blind camera test, the Galaxy S6 scored a clear victory against it’s rival – iPhone 6. The iPhone 6 provided quite vibrant images with great colors, but according to the blind test, users seemed to prefer the sharper 16MP pictures from the Galaxy S6. This proves that Apple needs to integrate a camera next time that offers a greater resolution.
The 8-Megapixel shooter of the iPhone 6 was quite a competition for the 16-Megapixel camera of the Galaxy S6, in terms of color production, but was outmatched in terms of sharpness by the Galaxy S6. Thus, the Galaxy S6 claimed a solid victory against the iPhone 6 in terms of camera performance.
