Early Benchmarks at the Mobile World Congress 2015 in Barcelona have shown that Samsung’s Exynos processor is surpassing all the competition. The Exynos processor has been used in the new flagship smartphone the Galaxy S6. It seems that Samsung’s Exynos processor is even surpassing the Snapdragon 810 that powers the HTC One M9 smartphone.
A video at the Mobile World Congress showed that the Samsung’s Exynos processor in the Galaxy S6 has reached nearly 70000 in AnTuTu benchmark. Well this might not at all seem to be much if you don’t benchmark smartphones.
However keeping in view the record of past flagship smartphones from 2014 which only scored 40000 to 50000, the 70000 mark is quite big news. Moreover the new smartphone by HTC the HTC One M9 has scored a 55000 and is powered by the renowned Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor.
Both these new smartphones are being tested on the floor of the Mobile World Congress and that is why the final software from HTC and Samsung will not be revealed yet.
