That’s the question facing us before the official announcement this week. A Chinese forum has posted photos of the Samsung Galaxy S IV Duos GT-I9502. These are likely prototypes, but might be the actual design. Samsung has a history of showing multiple prototypes to partners, some of which do not reflect the actual final design.
This device shows a 5-inch full HD AMOLED dsplay, powered by an Exynos Octa 5410 CUP, PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU with 2GB of RAM. As expected, it’s running Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean. As confirmed by a Samsung executive last week, the back plate is plastic, which is expected to continue among Samsung handsets. The sides however are made of aluminum.
Real? Fake? We’ll find out on March 14th when Samsung is expected to take the wraps off the Samsung Galaxy S4 in NYC.
