At CES 2012, Verizon and Samsung announced yet another model for the Samsung Galaxy Tab lineup. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE was announced, but information regarding its availability and pricing was not announced at the show. The tablet is a capable one, packing a 7.7 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 3.2, a dual-core 1.4GHz processor, 3MP rear facing camera, 2MP front facing camera, 16GB of onboard memory, 1GB of RAM, and, of course, 4G LTE connectivity.
In terms of the actual rumor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE is expected to drop on March 1st across all Verizon Wireless retail chains for $499 on a two year commitment. The leak comes to us via an internal Verizon document, which can be found at the link below. If the rumor pans out, then I would expect Verizon or Samsung to make an announcement in the next couple of days — possibly at Mobile World Congress 2012.
