The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the first tablet to feature a Super AMOLED Plus HD touchscreen, and as such many of you are probably anxiously waiting for it to make it to stores. Speaking of that, we were led to believe that it wouldn’t become available in the US, at least not officially. That said, you’ll be happy to know that you can in fact pre-order one right now Stateside. Unofficial as that may be, you’ll still be among the first people in the States to get your hands on this device when it launches.
When is the million dollar question here. Sooner than you may think may just be the answer. According to ET News, Samsung has obtained all the necessary certifications for the tablet. Apparently it usually takes about two weeks from this point until a gadget becomes available to buy, so there’s a chance that the Galaxy Tab 7.7 will be released before this year ends.
That would certainly be good news, especially for those who see 10-inch tablets as too big. If you’re in the US, you can pre-order a Galaxy Tab 7.7 at Negri Electronics for a rather hefty $668.50. Although you do get both Wi-Fi and (unlocked) 3G connectivity for that amount of dough.
