Samsung’s trio of Galaxy Tab Pro devices were launched back in February via plenty of third party retailers. However, the devices launched back then were the WiFi only variants and lacked 4G LTE. A new report is now claiming that T-Mobile could be looking to launch the 8.4 inch variant of the tablet with 4G LTE in tow.
It is said that this LTE model of the tablet will bring the ability to make phone calls as well, so it’s going to be substantially different from what we’ve seen before. Pricing is expected to be steep considering the hardware on offer. There is no precise word on the launch date at the moment, but the report suggests that it will be available by summer.
Hardware wise, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 comes with a 2560 x 1600 resolution display, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC for the LTE model, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal storage with an external microSD card slot, a 4,800 mAh battery and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
