Samsung recently published two new ads for the Galaxy Tab S slates and they both praise the tablets’ abilities when it comes to multitasking and screen power, but they also take a jab at the iPads.
The Galaxy Tab S models recently debuted in stores all over the world and they stand out through their Super AMOLED panels, that offer deeper blacks than LCDs and also a much higher contrast ratio. The second ad below claims that the contras is 100.000:1 on a Super AMOLED panel used on the Galaxy Tab S, versus the 1000:1 of an LCD.
The first ad shows a father and a baby, with the latter crying, as the dad is trying to watch sports on a tablet. With the iPad, you can either watch sports or give the kid a Rovio flick. With Tab S, you don’t have to choose between the two actions, since you can split the screen in two and both watch your game scores and have the kid enjoy his cartoons.
Do you agree with these clips? Is the iPad in dire need of multitasking multi window gimmicks?
