Samsung has been in the talks for a while now about the launch of a tablet called as Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with 9.7-inch and 8-inch displays. The upcoming tablet will be the upgraded variant of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 that launched last year. Today, a new tablet from Samsung has appeared on GFXBench listing with model number Samsung SM-T819 and is supposed to be called as Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. The listing confirms few important features of the tablet, but the design of the device is yet to be revealed.
As per the listing, the Samsung SM-T819 will feature a 9.7-inch (2048×1536 pixels) Super AMOLED display and comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz clubbed with Adreno 510 GPU. The GFXBench listing shows the device will have a single sim card support and will run on latest Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box. It will come with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage and there is no information about the microSD card slot for expansion of memory.
On the camera section, the tablet will sport an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP 1080p front-facing camera for video calling and selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the device include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB port. Apart from this, no other details about the upcoming tablet are revealed. The Samsung SM-T719, an 8-inch variant of Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 will come with almost similar internals like the 9.7-inch Tab S3 with the major differences being display size and battery capacity.
