SEOUL, South Korea – The Galaxy Tab 3 is a popular tablet from Samsung and now the company has brought an affordable version with the Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite, that is comes with better portability, productivity and multimedia features.
The Galaxy Tab 3 Lite sports a slim, light-weight design with a more compact bezel that makes it comfortable to carry around in one hand. The device’s large 3 600mAh battery maximizes portability so that users can enjoy up to eight hours of video playback without the need for an adapter. The menu bar is situated on the device’s bezel, rather than on the screen, in order to maximize the Galaxy Tab3 Lite’s wide screen experience.
With a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, the Galaxy Tab Lite 3 brings less performance, but it should be enough for operations including gaming, watching movies or videos or surfing the internet. The handheld has a 2 megapixel rear camera with several features like Smile Shot, which allows the camera to capture images when detecting a smile, Shoot & Share, which enables image sharing as soon as they are captured and Panorama Shot, which allows users to capture wide landscapes.
The device comes with a 7″ display with WSVGA (1024×600) resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB + 8 GB internal storage, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, various services like Samsung Kies, Samsung Apps, Samsung TouchWiz, GPS+GLONASS, and a 3600mAh battery. The RAM size is not known at this stage.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab3 Lite (7”) will be available globally in white and black.
