Samsung quietly announced a new addition to the Galaxy family of handsets. The Galaxy Ace 3 is an affordable option that’ll feature LTE connectivity or 3G depending on the market in which it is sold.
The Ace 3 is standard mid-range fare with a 4-inch (480 x 800) LCD and either a 1GHz dual-core processor (3G model) or a 1.2 GHZ dual-core processor (LTE model). A 5-megapixel camera and LED flash grace the back of the iPhone. Storage-wise, the Ace 3 will ship with 8GB in the LTE version and only 4GB in the 3G model. There is microSD expansion up to 64GB, if needed. Not surprisingly, the Ace 3 is powered by Android 4.2 with Samsung’s Touchwiz UI. Launch date and pricing is not provided, but we expect the handset to land soon in the UK and Korea.
