Back in June, Eddy Cue said that Apple had the best product pipeline he had seen in his 25 years at Apple. In September, the senior vice president of Internet software and services and the rest of the Apple team began to deliver with the introduction of the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch.
The rest of that pipeline should be making an appearance in the coming weeks with the introduction of the iPad Air 2 and the companys first 12.9-inch tablet, the so-called iPad Pro.
On Tuesday, Digitimes (via MacRumors) said that Samsung has been tasked with providing the displays for those devices using technology similar to Apples current line of iPads. The report says that Apple will have a steady supply of panels for its first batch of iPad Air 2 units, which may launch in time for the upcoming holiday shopping season.
The iPad Pro is likely to be released in early 2015.
