Samsung experienced great success by the release of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. As we reported earlier that another exclusive device by Samsung might be in the works. The official name of the device has not been confirmed, currently, but the device is being called the Galaxy S6 edge plus.
The model number of the device is SM-G928. The device simulates the design and look of the Galaxy S6. The SM-G928 will most likely be a pumped up version of the Galaxy S6 edge, with a larger screen, a better processor, and a decent battery. The phone is currently being called as Project Zero 2 by Samsung.
As we reported earlier that the device will be featuring a 5.4-inch or a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED curved-edge display, similar to the Galax S6 edge. Moreover, the phone will be equipped with a hexa-core snapdragon 808 processor, 32GB of Internal storage, 16-Megapixel primary camera, and 5-Megapixel front camera. The rear camera also comes with many advanced features such as, OIS, and 4K video recording.
Lately, more details about the Project Zero 2 have come up. These details include the physical dimensions, and the battery capacity of the device, which have been reported recently. According to this report, the device is 151mm tall and 73mm wide, thus showing that it is 9mm taller, and 3mm wider than the previous Galaxy S6 Edge. Moreover, the device will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, to make up for the larger screen size.
The official name of the Project Zero 2, and the release date will be revealed later next month. However, we will keep you updated on the specifications, and any details on the device.
