SEOUL, South Korea – How excited the consumers are to get their hands on the third generation Samsung Galaxy S can be inferred through nine-million pre-orders the Korean company received for the phone from more than 100 operators across the globe, as reported by the Korea Economic Daily on Friday.
What makes this number more impressive is that the pre-order amount does not yet include United States markets, as it is not available there until now.
The phone will first be rolled out in Germany on 29th of May and will then be shipped to rest of the markets.
Coming towards South East Asia, Samsung India is now taking pre-orders for Galaxy S III. Although the price is yet to be disclosed but interested customers can buy a Rs 2000 coupon as an advance. This coupon can later be exchanged when the handset will actually be purchased, once it is out.
In addition, pre-ordering customers will also be entitled to a surprise gift, which is assumed to be an accessory of Galaxy S III.
