The South Korean giant has once again started to regain its lost ground in the US soil thanks to its new flagship smartphone the Galaxy S6 as per the analysts at Kantar. The Galaxy S6 is responsible for taking Samsung at the number one smartphone vendor in the US.
Apart from this the Galaxy S6 has become the third bestselling smartphone in the Us after the iPhone and the Galaxy S5. This report has come at a time when iOS is experiencing a decline and during the three month period that ended in May the iOS is down about 2.4 percent as compared to the same result last year.
Moreover Japan is still the country that has the highest concentration of iOS devices while Spain has the fewest iOS devices and Android has a market share of 90 percent there. Despite these alarming figures iOS is experiencing an increase in Europe while Android is facing a slight decline in the Top 5 Euro countries.
Coming to the US, Android leads with a ratio 2 to 1 with Windows barely there. On the other hand China is a completely different scenario. The top three makers in China include apple, Huawei and Xiaomi.
