The Galaxy W — which was first spotted by Sammy Hub — appears to be a Korea-only device at the point. The phablet sports an HD display, runs the slightly dated Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) OS, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB RAM. There’s an eight-megapixel rear camera and a two-megapixel front-facing camera, while the 16 GB internal storage can be upgraded by up to 64 GB with an external card.
Considering it is only running Jelly Bean, the price seems a little excessive for the device, but given that it is essentially a seven-inch tablet that is capable of making calls, Samsung may well be pitching it at those who want an all-in-one option. Don’t expect to see this device make it out of Korea, though, many Samsung devices are made expressly for Korea..
