Samsung has been producing smart TV and LCD’s for the past few years now. It has introduced many of the latest models that operated on different versions of Android operating system developed by Google.
For the last decade or so, Samsung has been trying to get a hold of each and every market that it steps into. Ranging from smartphones to personal LCD’s, Samsung brought the latest innovations into the market. Well now, its Samsung’s turn to try its luck with smart TV. This might seem to be a gamble to some but most of us know that it will surely be a WIN-WIN gamble by Samsung.
To kick start the rapid journey into the Smart TV market, Samsung has made an initial investment of nearly $3 Billion to setup a manufacturing plant in Vietnam – the plant which many people think will surely boost Vietnamese economy and Samsung’s profits too. The plant which is being setup in the Northern Taiwanese city of Ho Chi Minh City is a great step forward for the city. The city is also spending around $46 million on different development projects to facilitate Samsung in transportation and manufacturing process.
