Samsung will launch the Samsung Galaxy S4 between April 15 and 22 if rumors are true
Rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy S4 will be launched between April 15 and 22.
According to a source at Geeky Gadgets, Samsung's hero handset will be not be announced at Mobile World Congress at the end of February.
So far, rumors around the device are pretty thin on the ground, but so far, specs include a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels, 8-core Exynos Octa 5 processor clocked at speeds of 1.8GHz.
The Galaxy S4 will be offered in varying storage capacities, including 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, plus will have 3GB RAM.
the Galaxy S4 will come with Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean and Samsung's Touchwiz interface, which will come as a disappointment to those vanilla Android fanboys.
A number of pictures have leaked of the supposed Samsung Galaxy S4, showing the model number as GT-19500 and the Korean version as SHV-E300S.
We heard about the device possibly launching on April 22 just last week.
BGR said, "The interesting thing to note is the date on the smartphone: April 22nd. Companies often place the announcement or release date on the press image. It is speculated that this date could be either one for the Galaxy S IV, which has been rumored to launch in April."
The website also added that it is likely to feature a 13-megapixel camera, 4G LTE and a microSD slot, although any of these features could be based on devices we've seen already announced or on other company roadmaps.
The story has just broken that the iPhone 6 may cost less than the Samsung Galaxy S4 which will certainly be a bit of a blow for the Korean company as there is a mad scramble to sell most devices.
