Samsung SGH-T779 is an unannounced tablet that’s been approved by the FCC a few hours ago. It has T-Mobile USA’s logo on the back, and we can clearly see its 4G branding, too.
The device has been previously linked to the SGH-I497, which is also unannounced, but is rumored to be AT&T’s version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.
So we’ve put the Tab 2 10.1 over the SGH-T779 sketch provided by the FCC, and the two images certainly match:
In conclusion, it is probably safe to assume that T-Mobile will announce its own Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (as the SGH-T779) sometime soon. The fourth largest US carrier is already selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, which, like the new tablet, is 4G-branded, too.
