SEOUL, South Korea – Samsung will be reinforcing the Galaxy portfolio for 2014 with the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Active and Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom.
Last year the Samsung Galaxy S4 had created much noise in the international market and Samsung had released various smartphones under the S4 tag, such as the S4 Zoom, S4 Active and the S4 Mini variants. Samsung will follow the same trend this year as well with the release of its flagship Samsung Galaxy S5. Moreover, the Korean tech giant wants a waterproof and dustproof Active variant to take the edge of the total Galaxy S5 sales.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Active variant should penetrate deeper in the smartphone market and Samsung is hoping to touch 20%-30% sales figures of the total Galaxy sales. For this, the manufacturer will surely have to make an added effort for marketing the device within consumers. Samsung wants more of its consumers to buy the waterproof S5 Active as water damage is the major reason of users turning to service centers.
Taking a look at the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom, a device with model number SM-C115 has surfaced at Indian import tracking website Zauba. The “C” stands for camera device and moreover with the Galaxy S4 Zoom having model number SM-C101 we can closely predict this one to be the Galaxy S5 Zoom.
