Everyone we know has said that the battery performance has come down ever since iOS 5. Apple has not said or done much about it and that’s just the way it has been till now. While a lot of people do speculate battery would not be a problem in the next iPhone, what happens to those of us who are using the iPhones now and need to extend iPhone battery life?
One look around the App Store and you’ll find quite a lot of apps that promise extension of battery life for the iPhone. Although not every app does that, there are a few apps which work good. Carat App for iPhone is one such which brings quite a good performance in making sure apps that run on your iPhone do not suck the battery juice completely.
It does not promise huge battery savings, but it sure helps you find out which apps are using up more battery, and what apps are doing the actual damage. It comes with a simple interface that shows average battery life, battery hours that you can gain by restarting a few apps or closing them down altogethered: you know, little things like that.
You can try it out and tell us if helped you. Or, in case you have better suggestions, you can share them too.
