The quickest ways to find shows at the Edinburgh Festival
Every August, the city of Edinburgh hosts the world's largest arts festival. The month long event is a crazy potpourri of comedy, theater, dance, music, and late night drinking; with the majestic Edinburgh Castle as the backdrop. Not only do performers from all over the globe converge on the annual event, but also your trusty/loyal KYC editor is taking part this year with a comedy show entitled, Ironic/NOT Ironic. With so many shows and so little time, how does one navigate the Edinburgh Festival waters? Fret not: the future of festival-going is here. The Edinburgh Festival iPhone app allows you to immediately find must-see shows and venues-and offer your thoughts on such great comedy shows as, Ironic/NOT Ironic (9:40 @ The Store.) The app also allows you to buy tickets online and get the complete listing for the Festival Fringe, International Festival, Jazz and Blues Festival, Art Festival, Book Festival, The Mela and The Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
You also use the app to find the location of this guy:

The Edinburgh Festival app is a great way to find all the festivals events--with Google maps included to steer you directly to the correct venue and information on the next five scheduled shows close to your proximity. Okay, check out both the app and Ironic/NOT Ironic. (Note: third shameless plug mentioned in this post!)
