SeatGeek today announced version 6.0 of its application, bringing with it plenty of new features that will highly benefit those that are buying event tickets through the app.
The meat and potatoes of this update is that users can now send tickets they bought to friends and even the ability to sell tickets on the SeatGeek Marketplace. SeatGeek users will actually be able to send tickets straight to their friends’ smartphones, no longer requiring them to wait outside the venue until everyone is there.
The other neat thing is how selling tickets on the SeatGeek Marketplace works. SeatGeek will actually give you a price recommendation. There’s a whole system behind this price recommendation, increasing the odds that your ticket will sell. This system is actually based off of SeatGeek’s Deal Score tool, which truly maximizes your potential earnings.
There are some other small and minor changes, such as bug fixes and performance enhancements, but overall, this is a really neat update. If you haven’t gotten it yet, be sure to hit the download link below.
