Today one of the biggest concerns we all have is online security. Our mobile phones contain so much personal data about us that any unscrupulous hacker with a plan and a laptop can completely invade our lives and take complete control over our accounts. Our calls are listened to and our text messages can be read. Trying to keep our private lives private is definitely a chore. One app that helps users in the fight for privacy is the app Pryvate. Read on and I’ll tell you all about it!
The interface is white with a light blue phone button interface. Along the bottom are 5 icons, they are “Recents, Contacts, Chat, Email, and an icon that looks like a Phone number pad”. Recents takes users to a screen showing the most recent activities so if you need to call or text someone multiple times this is the easiest way to find them. Contacts takes users to a list of contacts that is created from your phones contacts when you first run the app. Chat takes users to a chat page where you can create a new discussion with someone in your contact list. Email is a page where you can email someone using an existing email address that has been setup with your account. Lastly the phone pad icon takes users back from any of those screens to the phone key pad screen you see when you first log in. The user interface is pretty easy to understand and nicely laid out. It is what you would expect from a communication app that works with text messages, phone calls, and emails. So in other words it’s perfect!
Pryvate offers RSA 4096-bit encryption. There’s no middle service you need to go through the app does all the heavy lifting. Some of the features Pryvate offers are :
Secure email with easy setup
Easy signup process in the app
30 day free trial.
Pryvate Lite free users can upgrade in the app
Integration with Microsoft Exchange
Blocking prevention ensures global use.
Overall I think this app is worth considering if you are concerned about your data being snooped on. I think this app would be perfect for businessman who do deals all over the world in some places where things get a little dicey!
