OSAKA, Japan – Sharp has launched the Aquos Mini SHL24, a new smartphone with IGZO display technology, breaking the pixel density record for 4.5″ screens.
There are many reasons for putting the Mini tag to the device, as it sports a 4.5” 1080p display, reduced bezel thickness, also known, as the EDGEST design. Moreover, the dimensions have also dropped to 2.48” width and only 115g in weight.
The device comes with hardware specifications listing a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a memory card support, a 13MP camera and waterproof body.
The Sharp Aquos mini SHL24 offers a 487 ppi pixel density which is new in a 4.5” smartphone. It will be available in March in different colors of pink, blue, white and yellow green.
