You are the intrepid pilot of a hot-air balloon and it is your mission, of course, to save a series of sheep from grizzly ends. Another example of super-simple but strangely compelling gameplay.
Sheep Impact is unbelievably simple. That’s its beauty – just keep touching the screen to make your balloon ascend – release the pressure and you’ll lower down. And you need to descend to save your hapless fleecy friends who have inadvertently got themselves in life-threatening situations, such as being strapped to dynamite or in the dangerous proximity to a chainsaw.
Collect all the sheep, get a gold coin, miss one and you’ll not only have his death on your conscience, but you’ll glean less precious prizes.
The graphics are simple but zoom along nicely, and the landscapes plus the hapless sheep put us in mind of the cute but grizzly Worms.

The bottom line
It’s one of those games that really shouldn’t be as addictive as it is, but anyone who’s played Angry Birds, Worms or Cut the Rope will identify with this simple, cute time-thief. Good, clean fun.
