Multi-platform developer XLabz Technologies are proving to be key players in bringing PlayBook users the highest quality products over and over again. Their latest game ‘Sketch W Friends‘ set a wheel of enthusiasm across the BlackBerry Community in just a couple hours of it’s release!
Sketch W Friends is compatible with all BlackBerry Tablet 1.0 devices & up. The game is cross-platform with players from iOS, BlackBerry & Android all coming together in one of the 1st online mash-ups ever. Frenzied players trying to own one-another.
A few days ago, XLabz hit me with a little sneak-peak of what would later become SWF. But at the time I was far too busy enjoying their previous release “Uber Iris“.
Now I have to be honest I haven’t gotten a chance to check out SWF myself yet. Bad timing would place the illusive App World Error id 30220 on my purchase this morning making the only solution (far as I’m aware) to wipe my PlayBook or wait for a new tablet OS update to get past it. This issue has nothing to do with the product or developer XLabz. It is entirely a software issue with App World.
Okay now that, that painful bit is out I will admit watching my woman play Sketch W Friends on her PlayBook has my juices flowing and fingers ready to get some time with the game. I’ll have to use her’s, but I don’t think it will be a big deal. She can get everything she has off my PlayBook too pretty much.
And while a handful of users are busy petitioning for Draw With Me to hit PlayBook (which may or may not happen) the rest of us are playing a much richer game from XLabz Technologies. Already they have 3 platforms of thirsty new users competing for top leaderboard reality and a slick set of drawing tools.
High gloss graphics, a very modern UI, Pictionary, Charades, lots of players online, & 3 platforms playing together in one unified world! I’d say this may be the best $1.99 spent in a looong time!!
