Samsung is looking forward to release its slimmest Galaxy device soon. Galaxy A7 which is yet to be released showed up in the Chinese TENAA certification website. It already got clearance for sale in China. TENAA which is similar to the FCC in the US, gives clearance certificates befoe companies can sell electronics items to consumers.
Samsung Galaxy A7 is 6.3 mm thick, which is 0.4 mm thinner than the Galaxy Alpha, which holds the thinnest phone crown right now at 6.7 mm. Samsung Galaxy A7 features a metallic frame, which gives the phone a premium look and feel.
The Galaxy A7 sports a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor in the Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 clocked at 1.5Ghz per core. The phone will also have LTE connectivity, a 13MP/8MP camera combo, 2GB RAM and 16GB of non-expandable internal storage (no microSD slot).
At the time of launch the phone will have Android KitKat, which will be updated pretty soon with other Samsung flagship devices.
