If you have working eyes and access to the internet there can be little doubting you’ve stumbled across and sniggered at the highly hilarious work of Someecards.com before, but did you know that there’s now an equally amusing comical card sending Android app for them too? You do now…
Some people are pretty fanatical about e-card sending; obsessive some might say. Like a stalker or a child desperate to impress. Personally, as a low-volume card sender in the tangible greeting card world, for me to get involved in clogging someone’s inbox with false sentiment would take something pretty special. And here it is!
Yes, far from the tedium of photos of cats anthropomorphised into animals of bad grammar and spelling, Someecards offers the chance to send friends and family some genuine biting, topical, surreal and, occasionally, sweary humour, all smacking of the kind of sincerity and honesty long lacking in Clintons; which may speak volumes.
Pick a category, select a card and choose to send via email or MMS, or share with all and sundry on Facebook and Twitter, then sit back wait for the LOLs to come rolling in… and, well, that’s really all there is to it. But whilst clearly requiring little effort on your part, there really is no better way online to get your playfully priceless point across or help hike your online sense of humour standing to dazzling new heights.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Whilst an excellent introduction to the world of educated e-abuse, with only 10 card options per category available in the free app, it’s well worth paying the 61p to gain access to the full app and over 3000 witheringly witty extra ones and ensure that, no matter how emotionally drained the world leaves you, you’ll never be short of the perfect way to express yourself again.
