For a very limited time, Sony Europe allows customers to order products for 10% less than their normal prices. Apparently, the offer comes after the Sony Store went down following “an improvement maintenance.”
The discount can be obtained by using this voucher code: SORRY2013. It should work in all European countries where Sony has an official online store (see here): Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, and the UK.
As Xperia Blog points out, the offer ends tomorrow, April 23, and includes the Xperia Tablet Z (which will ship only starting the end of May). So, for example, if you order the new tablet now in the UK, you should be able to get 16GB version for £359.10 instead of £399, and the 32GB edition for £404.10 instead of £449.
In other Sony news, the company has let the world know that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean updates for the Xperia P and Xperia Go smartphones are now in their final stages – thus they should be rolled-out soon.
The Xperia S, Xperia SL, Xperia Acro S and Xperia Ion are also going to be updated in the near future (possibly next month) – as mentioned many times before.
