LONDON, UK – Sony Mobile has announced two new Xperia smartphones – the Xperia SP and Xperia L – with premium design and camera technology.
The Sony Xperia SP, with a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, and a super-bright 4.6-inch 720p HD Reality Display, exploits the expertise of Mobile Bravia Engine 2 to give best possible viewing experience. The latest engine optimizes sharpness, high-quality color management and noise reduction in real-time. The phone also supports 4G LTE network for entertainment and browsing.
The Sony Xperia L, sporting dual-core 1 GHZ CPU, 1 GB RAM, a 4.3-inch FWVGA screen, also features a 8MP camera with Exmor RS sensor technology. Its High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology ensures that both videos and photos are captured at best with any given background and amount of light.
The new Xperia phones take advantage of Sony’s entertainment center at full with a Walkman app, a media player to watch downloaded movies, music and a tool to manage social networks. Additionally, both phones allow users to share music and photos instantly with one-touch functions with new NFC-enabled BRAVIA TVs and SRS-BTV5 portable speakers.
The Sony Xperia SP and Xperia L will be released worldwide from Q2 2013 in black, white and red.
