This week on the PlayStation Store, you can find your typical helping of themed sales and bargains. Spring Fever enters its third week with Jamestown+ on sale for its console debut. Assassin’s Creed is throwing down with some big savings, and the usual suspect of Atlus classics haves been slashed across all platforms. Plenty of games you don’t really need to waste money on, but if I were you, I’d ignore all of them.
South Park: The Stick of Truth has just been permanently dropped to $4.99.
If you are like me, a console gamer who hasn’t been down to South Park yet, then now is the absolute best time to do so. Ubisoft and Obsidian’s RPG has been a hit with the show’s fans at least, and many claim it to be the best licensed video game in years. I haven’t had a chance to play it yet, but can you really go wrong for just $5?
Buy now, and it might make a pleasant slow burn through the long, uneventful summer months. Who’s guessing that the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions get announced within a few weeks?
