Everybody hates spam. No, not the canned meat that's a breakfast favorite (everybody loves that!) but those annoying texts, calls, and emails coming in unsolicited. On Android phones, you can even find them on the status bar as notifications. I don't think there will be an end to spam yet but there are many ways to prevent them.
On your Android smartphone, some apps can be spammy by pushing annoying notifications and messages you don't really need especially at hours where you don't want to be disturbed. Sleep time and privacy are invaded but good thing there are apps like the Spam Blocker Smart that can block spam messages and notifications. The app can even intelligently identify them even before you know and receive them.
There are similar apps already and the priority mode can be pretty useful but you still have to track down random spams manually to turn them off or set the privacy modes for each app. With the Spam Blocker Smart, spammy individual notifications are identified. You'll notice some Material Design elements too. App also follows some swipe to dismiss gestures to easily remove the stuff you don't want and need from the screen.
Some features of the Spam Blocker Smart app include Automatic Spam Filter that automatically filters spam and the Do Not Disturb Mode that lets you set time periods without any interruptions. If a notification is set as spam, you can still mark is as 'not spam' for future reference. Any app notification when already marked as 'spam', will no longer show in the future. If you want to exclude some apps, you can do so in the exceptions screen.
