As Samsung prepares to unleash the Galaxy S 5 on the market, it is time for additional devices that are part of the flagship line to start showing up. The newest one is the Samsung Galaxy S 5 Zoom that surfaced on the GFXBench web site. The Zoom monikered devices from Samsung tend to focus on photobug buyers and this device should be no exception.
According to the information posted on GFXBench, the Galaxy S 5 Zoom will come equipped with Samsung’s new Exynos hexa-core processor. The screen is listed as 4.8-inches in size running a 1280×720 resolution and the device uses 2GB of RAM to run Android 4.4.2.
The draw of the Zoom devices is not cutting edge hardware, but the camera. For this new iteration, the front-facing camera is listed at 19MP on GFXBench, although it appears the maximum dimensions suggest it is a 20.2MP camera. Some are wondering whether the device may support interchangeable lenses following the path of Sony.
